The Undeniable Comfort of Peace

When your heart and mind are clear and at peace, the comforts of life, while welcomed, are much sweeter but are not a requirement. Let’s be honest….we all may wish to have enough wealth or disposable income to buy what we want when we want, enough freedom to decide whether to work, enough flexibility to travel the world, enough [you name it], but those all mean nothing, without peace of mind. Outward comforts can never substitute for a clear and calm mind.
So, whenever you find yourself out of sorts, remember and embrace Jesus’ words, “Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]”. John 14:27 AMP
