Mar 7 – Stand Firm and Just Stand

(Inspired by Fear Not! A Journey from Fear to Freedom devotional)

Sometimes we find ourselves in a pit. Life happens and there are highs and lows along this journey. If you happen to be experiencing the lows right now, remember to cry out to the Lord and then look up (Your “Uplook” determines your “Outlook”). You’ll recognize Jesus; He will be the One with His arms stretched out towards you waiting to lift you out and get you on firm ground.

So don’t give in to the enemy of your soul and don’t give up because God is our refuge and strength (we don’t have to do it on our own) and will always be present and ready to help us in times of trouble and distress.

Grab hold to the words of the psalmist David, “I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.”‭‭ Psalms‬ ‭40‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

And because of this we can embrace the Apostle Paul’s admonishment, “Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].”  Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭13‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Just Stand!

Love You All to Life! ❤️
