Anxiety – A Silent Killer

“Beware of anxiety. Next to sin, there is nothing that so troubles the mind, strains the heart, distresses the soul, and confuses the judgment” – William Ullathorne

Yes, anxiety is a silent killer, constantly eating away at our core and oftentimes without us even being aware. It feeds our greatest fears, disturbs our peace, and eventually erodes our trust in God.

Therefore, the Bible encourages, “Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].” Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭AMP‬‬

God has promised to keep you in perfect peace. So, whatever has you all twisted in knots, drop it, and roll on. Lean into God, release upon Him daily your cares, concerns, and worries (I know…releasing is the hardest part). And above all, be quick to dismiss the enemy who comes to steal (your peace), kill (your joy) and destroy (your trust in God). In doing so, you will thwart Satan’s attempts to sift you as wheat.

Love You All to Life!!
