Walking Circumspectly and In Purpose
“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly but understand what the Lord wants you to do.”
Ephesians 5:15-17 NLT
Sometimes we forget that our purpose on this earth is to serve God. I know…we all at times tend to get caught up in the daily cares of life. And, if we’re not careful/don’t walk circumspectly we unknowingly begin to embrace the attitudes and desires of the world and lose our identity in Christ.
Don’t allow the need for success, recognition, competition, or envy and covetousness creep in and twist you in knots. God knows what you have need of and has you covered in all things.
As did Jesus, let’s be determined to “mind our Father’s business.” Then and only then will we be able to see from a higher perspective, resist the subtle and not so subtle pressures and influences of this life and find our purpose in His.
