Think On These Things

The enemy is shrewd and good at attacking our minds—the faculty of our understanding, feelings and desires. Thus, we must be careful not to allow negative thoughts to take root. ANTS  (Annoying Negative Thoughts) as one person has referred to them.

We must not allow these ANTS to “set up camp” in our minds. We must not only evict them but replace them with the truths of God. However, being able to successfully replace and fill our minds with good thoughts requires us to “actively” do something—be intentional…be deliberate.

Then and only then will we be  able to realign our thinking and  perspective with God’s. And see in ourselves—in our present and in our futures—the things God sees and has planned for those that love Him. (Adapted and inspired by “Loving God and Loving Others”devotional, Day 4).

I leave you with the following two scriptures to meditate upon, and pray they bless you real good, deep down in your souls.

“Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.”  Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Love You All to Life! ❤️
