Lean Into God

“Our extremities are the Lord’s opportunities” – Charles Spurgeon

I don’t mind admitting that I sometimes tend to first do things out of my own strength and when it doesn’t work out, cry out to God for help. Much like a toddler who goes through that phase of wanting to do things for herself without any help from her parents. And then only after the frustration and exhaustion from failing sets in, give in to “someone bigger” to help.

While there’s nothing wrong with striving to become independent (after all, it is as a sign of growth and maturity), when that independence turns into pride—a refusal to cry out for help—we will suffer unnecessarily.

Since we know better, let’s do better. When we open our heart, rid ourselves any residual stubborn pride, and lean into God, He will carry us through troubled waters and over tough terrain. How do I know? The Bible makes it clear that we must, “Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].” Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Your end is where God begins!! So, let’s not take too long to get there.

Love You All to Life!!
