The More You Know
“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.”
1 Corinthians 15:58 NLT
This one is worth repeating. You may have seen NBCUniversal’s television commercials where different news anchors and stars share a little piece of knowledge on different topics and end their clip with “The More You Know”.
We spend countless hours reading, studying and practicing to help us thrive in our careers, learn a new hobby and even perfect a recipe. Growing up we’ve all heard “practice makes perfect”.
I submit to you that the more you read God’s word, the more you study His character, the more you commit to discovering His purpose for your life, the more you offer yourself to Him—The More You Know and can walk out a life of purpose that pleases Him! Practice does lead to maturity!!
Prayer: God help me to refocus and re-channel my energies and the God-given gifts and talents You have richly blessed me with to get to KNOW you so I can pursue a life that fully honors and pleases You! The more I “Know”, the more I KNOW.
