Gentleness Is Strength

“Nothing is so strong as gentleness, nothing so gentle as real strength” – St. Francis de Sales

I know it may sound like an oxymoron, but there is strength in gentleness, just as there is power in meekness. In fact, gentleness, meekness, and humility all go hand in hand. It takes real strength to display those character traits—traits that Jesus Himself lived and embodied.

So don’t get consumed in the world’s show of strength—money, power, influence, achievements, and possessions. Remember, your Christian walk can be a beacon of light to someone else. As the Bible admonishes us, “Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near.”  ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

And while you may be thinking this is easier said than done (especially with those you believe don’t deserve it), in so doing, you’ll experience real strength which is able to heal hurting hearts and offer hope to those that are lost—especially those you believe are least deserving.

Love You All to Life!!
