Character development is an “inside job”. It requires a lot of humility and patience (especially with yourself). Some say it is what you do—who you are—when others aren’t looking.
Allow God to change and develop you from the inside out. And you’ll find that the world’s requirements and the personal expectations you’ve bought into as a result can’t touch what God will do IN you, FOR you and THROUGH your lives. As the scriptures remind us, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
