Just Wait and See
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. (Psalm 130:5-6, ESV).
Not everyone has the patience and endurance to be a watchman. Remember the popular series “Game of Thrones”? Recall how those assigned as watchman were critical to the survival of the kingdom. They first had to be loyal to the cause, brave, remain alert, be patient and always on the ready to defend against the enemy.
I submit to you that we must be like the watchmen and even more so….waiting patiently for the Lord, hanging onto His every word and with an assurance that He will show up in due time. Waiting for Him (to move in our challenging circumstances) is no task for the weary and faint at heart. The good news is that with the help of the Lord, we can all experience the victory God has designed for our lives.
And we know that in ALL things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Just wait and see…..
