It’s Blooming Time
(Adapted from Trusting God’s Plan in the Waiting devotional)
“Bloom where you are planted. Ever heard of that phrase? Simply put, make the most of where God has you RIGHT NOW, even in your season of waiting. This doesn’t mean you have to like your situation, but your attitude in it makes all the difference! Why? Because you have an audience watching how you live your life, as we see in Joseph’s story”.
Sometimes God allows us to be placed in precarious situations to serve His purpose and plan for our lives. Generally it looks unfruitful but if we hold onto God and remain humble and obedient, His perfect plans will come to pass. They will be a blessing to us as well as others. Remember, God doesn’t call the “prepared”—those that have it all together—rather, He “prepares” those He calls.
“He’s not going to waste your wait so bloom where you are right now.”
There is a blessing in the wait.
“Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”
