Don’t be discouraged, when it seems like God is slow to helping you out of your troubling situation. He reserves the right to respond to our request for a change of situation, in His own way. God knows to well that a change situation absent a changed mind will simply led to a reoccurring troubling condition with a new cute facade. God wants to free you from the sticky thinking that keeps you stuck in sticky situations. He accomplishes this not by changing your situation but rather by changing your mind. So be open to Gods’ new response to an old situation, a mind changing response that will empower you to change your situation.
That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according tot he deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24, NKJV
