Satan doesn’t have to come up with new ways to deceive because the old ones work so well. Let’s think about that for a moment. It seems “when we’re at our lowest point he always taunts us with seeds of doubt”. Why is it that we continue to be lulled in by the enemy’s tactics, even though we’ve been there, done that? 
“No matter how sweet his deal might look, don’t fall for it. In the end it’s just [an illusion], a downgrade”.
I submit to you that “if you know who you are, and you trust in who you belong to (God), then you’ll be in a much better position to stand firm against satan’s taunts”.
What lie has he been telling that you’ve allowed to wreak havoc in your thought and prayer life, causing you to question and distance yourself from God? Satan’s got game using old tricks and if we’re not careful we can be “played”. Let’s stay suited up and ready to give every man a reason for the hope that lies in us. Ready as was Jesus, to stand against the tricks and taunts of the enemy.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to trust You with my heart, mind and soul and to refuse satan’s taunts that sow seeds of doubt and despair. May I always hold onto You, the hope of my salvation.
